Hi everyone!

I’ve recently become more interested in snakes and their natural behavior. One thing I found super fascinating is their diet. So I thought it would be fun to start a discussion here about the food of snakes.

From what I’ve read, their diet can vary a lot depending on the species. Some eat rodents, birds, frogs, or even other snakes! In captivity, many are fed mice or rats but I’m curious how their diet changes in the wild.

Do you own a snake or work with reptiles? What do you feed them?

Also, what are some unusual or surprising things you’ve heard snakes eat?
