Debashis Das Brings Innovation to Bangladeshi TV Branding Through Rtv to Maasranga TV

Debashis Das, a celebrated name in Bangladesh’s digital branding and broadcast graphics scene, has recently emerged in a new light—as a passionate advocate for yoga and mental wellness. Known for his award-winning work in motion graphics and television branding, Debashis now channels his creativity into helping people reconnect with their inner calm through structured mindfulness practices. On July 6, 2025, he led a special one-day yoga and meditation workshop at Chandrima Udyan in Dhaka, bringing together people from all walks of life under the theme, “Stay Aware, Stay Well.”

The workshop began at 7 AM, with fresh morning air and open skies creating the perfect ambiance for self-care and reflection. Participants arrived not just from Dhaka but from distant districts, forming a diverse group that included university students, school children, working professionals, women entrepreneurs, retired government officials, and individuals from various professions. Mats and sheets were laid across the park’s green grounds as people gathered in quiet anticipation. What followed was a deeply enriching session, personally led by Debashis Das, who guided the audience through a series of breathing exercises, meditative stretches, focus-enhancing techniques, and beginner-friendly yoga asanas.

What made the session unique was Debashis’s approachable, lively teaching style, which allowed even first-time participants to feel welcome and at ease. He emphasized the value of mindfulness not just as a physical discipline but as a mental tool to overcome daily stress, anxiety, and emotional exhaustion. Throughout the session, he encouraged participants to awaken their inner strength, maintain mental balance, and build resilience through consistent practice. His guidance reflected years of personal discipline, dedication, and belief in the transformative power of wellness.

Debashis Das is no stranger to the yoga community. He is an active member of the Joysan Yoga and Wellness Center, one of Dhaka’s respected wellness institutions. Recently, Joysan honored him with a special recognition for his contribution to promoting wellness within the community. Their citation described him as “a rare presence—someone who brings not just knowledge, but sincerity, grace, and peace of mind to everyone around him.” The recognition highlighted his commitment not just to the practice of yoga but to uplifting others with compassion and clarity.

His dedication to wellness is also officially recognized at the national level. Since 2023, Debashis has been a lifetime member of the Bangladesh Yogasana Sports Association (BYSA), a prominent body overseeing yoga activities, competitions, and training programs across the country. As a BYSA life member, he is eligible to represent Bangladesh in national and international yoga events and training initiatives. His active membership and continued participation speak volumes about his evolving identity—not just as a designer and educator, but as a wellness leader.

This new chapter in Debashis Das’s journey beautifully complements his professional life. As Deputy Manager of Graphics at Maasranga Television, and a faculty member at Pathshala South Asian Media Institute and guest lecturer at Dhaka University, he has always taught the importance of balance, discipline, and creative clarity. Now, through yoga and meditation, he extends those same values beyond the classroom and studio—into public spaces, green parks, and everyday lives.

The success of the Chandrima Udyan workshop is a reflection of growing public interest in mental health and holistic well-being. It’s also a testament to how influential figures like Debashis Das are using their platforms to serve the greater good. As more individuals join the mindfulness movement, his seminars serve as a beacon of calm in a fast-paced world, reminding us that wellness starts from within.
